About us

An impressive, modern office building serving as the headquarters or a significant branch of Bosch. The Bosch logo prominently adorns the facade, underscoring the company's size and established presence. This image signals stability, innovation, and global reach, key attributes for partners like Origify who leverage or collaborate with Bosch's expertise and infrastructure to develop advanced anti-counterfeiting technologies.

The story behind

Origify started with a concrete challenge inside Bosch: tracking a component that couldn’t be marked, labeled, or altered in any way. Oliver Steinbis, an expert in traceability, and his team developed a breakthrough solution by analyzing natural surface structures. What began as an internal project quickly proved its robustness. This technological milestone became the foundation of Origify, transforming surface recognition into a reliable tool for product authentication and traceability. Florian Hachenberger, who initially supported the project through a Bosch accelerator program, provided the business perspective and strategic backing needed to turn the research success into a scalable solution. Since mid-2024, he has joined the management team, pushing Origify forward together with Oliver. Today, Origify stands as the result of deep technical expertise, rigorous validation, and the drive to bring a practical, markerless authentication technology into real industrial environments.
